Earlier this month we introduced you to the reboot/ extension (click here) to the longstanding Da Vinci collection from IWC.
It was clear that, like the Portofino Midsize, these would be primarily aimed at the female market, and the presentation at SIHH 2017 (the slide above) confirmed this, although like the Portofino, it was also stressed that IWC are not seeing them exclusively as such. As someone who strongly believes in people simply wearing whatever sizes and styles they like, the unisex watch approach is one that I can only encourage.
As mentioned in the earlier post, the new models cover a broad range of metals and looks, and today we can share some live photos with you of some of the Da Vincis. For any further details, go to our earlier post at this link.
With a starting RRP of CHF 5,900 for the entry model (CHF 14,000 for the Moonphase) it will be very interesting to see how these do.
