Officine Panerai have announced a series of eleven alligator straps in a myriad of colours – eight straps with a semi-matte finish and three with a polished finish, achieved by hand-polishing using agate stones. This will no doubt be welcome news amongst Panerai owners, for whom multiple strap changes are part of the experience of owning a Panerai.

The colours will be – red, green, blue, pink, Bordeaux, orange, yellow and white, the latter being the newest addition, with same-coloured thread for the semi-matte straps and contrasting lighter stitching for the polished straps. The leather itself is from farms in Louisiana.

The new straps will be available for the Radiomir 1940 (diameter 42mm), Luminor 1950 (42mm) and Luminor (40mm).
