Last year’s surprise appearance of a pocket watch at SIHH 2013 turned out not to be a one-off, with SIHH 2014 bringing in two relatively more accessible pocket watches.
The 3 Days Oro Rosso (PAM447) and Oro Bianco (PAM529) are to be produced in limited editions of 50 pieces each. As their respective names indicate, they are respectively red gold and white gold. They are otherwise the same – 50mm, containing the P.3001/10 calibre, with a power reserve of 3 days. Both models are polished, with hinged covers. The two models’ chains are of the respective polished metals, which makes for quite hefty pieces.
The differences lie in the aesthetic details – for the Oro Rosso the dial is brown, with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. For the Bianco the dial is black.
Not that their owners are likely to get them near water, but they have a water resistance of 50m. Pricing is EUR 55,000 for the Oro Rosso and EUR 58,000 for the Oro Bianco.
