Richemont has announced the appointment of Laurent Lecamp to replace Davide Cerrato as managing director of Montblanc’s watch division. Cerrato, who lead the division for five years, is leaving the Richemont group.
The new managing director was most recently a Board member and Vice President of Sales for Carl F. Bucherer. He was also co-founder and CEO of Cyrus Watches, which he left in 2014, after which he joined Carl F. Bucherer as Vice President of Sales.
Mr Lecamp is quoted saying – “I am convinced that the success of Montblanc’s watch division is measured equally by its innovation as well as its strong emotional bond with its customers, press and watch aficionados. I will strive to further build on these two drivers, relying on Minerva’s outstanding heritage, passionate collaborators and an unparalleled craftsmanship.”
