Following its unveiling in China, Glashütte Original have announced a new worldwide customisation service that is available for models in the current collection with a precious metal case. Timepieces will be able to be personalised with precious stone settings or engraving.
To give potential customers a bit of inspiration, GO have released the following photos are some examples of what might be done.
A red gold PanoLunarTourbillon with a bezel set with baguette-cut diamonds.
A Senator Tourbillon in white gold. Its dial has a full pavé setting, the lugs are set with brilliant-cut diamonds, and baguette-cut diamonds are on the bezel and used as indices.
The Senator Cosmopolite, with its 35 time zones, with brilliant-cut diamonds on the lugs and baguette-cut sapphires on the bezel.
Or in a rather more ‘baseline’ example, simple diamond-set bezels on the Senator Chronometer Tourbillon and the Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar.
As mentioned at the outset, it is now possible to ask for an engraving on the case back as well. The cost of the precious stone customisation and any engraving will obviously vary depending on what you want done. Requests can be made at any Glashütte Original Boutique or authorised retailer.
