In a recent post introducing Fiona Krüger and her skull watches mention was made of a new ‘Celebration’ watch. Well here it is.
Her third time watch, it is a variation on her previous watches, with the same influences (for more about this read my previous post) but in a brighter fashion compared to the dark hues of the previous two models.
As with the others, the Celebration will be made in a limited edition, this time of twent-four pieces. It has a three layered dial, the vivid colours hand-painted lacquer, and the white sections of the skull lumed with Super-LumiNova. The case is black PVDd stainless steel and the caseback reveals a cranium-inspired opening to show the customised automatic Technotime TT738 movement which is skeletonised, has black PVDd bridges, and a hand-decorated oscillating mass.
So what do the colours represent?
