Watch trends and styles may come and go, but Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso basically remains eternal, be it in its original most basic form, or in variations on its complications since its birth, with modernisd touches, and slight variations on the (general) theme.
The new Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar is their latest update of the triple calendar Duoface, first introduced in 1994 – two time zones on two faces powered by a single movement.

The case, in stainless steel or in 18kt rose gold, is 49.4mm x 29.9mm with a thickness of 10.9mm and water resistant to 30m. Functionally, on the recto are the date, hours and minutes, day, month, and moon phase. On the verso are the second time zone, and a day/ night indicator.

On the front are the classic gadroons, applied hour-markers, and Dauphine hands. The moon phase at 6 o’clock has a small hand with red crescent tip as a date indicator. On the other side is are new hour markers set along the exterior periphery of the chemin-de-fer minuterie.

Two new updates means two different pairs of dials. The recto is either grained or sunray silver and the verso, dark blue or dark charcoal grey sunray.

The movement powering the new models is the manually-wound Calibre 853 which beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 42 hours. Finishing wise it has chamfered edges, countersunk jewels, mirror-polished screws, and there are Côtes de Genève on the bridges.
The watch will come with two interchangeable straps – either blue or brown calf with a steel or gold deployant, and a second canvas and calf strap in blue or beige. All straps made by Casa Fagliano.
The RRP for the stainless steel Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar in stainless steel is AUD 22,700 and AUD 41,900 for the pink gold model.
