NEW: H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack®

H. Moser & Cie has launched a new red gold version of the Streamliner with a tourbillon and Vantablack® dial.

When the brand first bought this continually intriguing material onto their watch dials, who would have thought that it would not just be a one-off, but the demand is clearly there for more. Looking at these bottomless black dials never gets old.

For this new piece, the deep black is punctuated by red gold indices that are secured from the back using a plate. The hour and minute hands have Globolight® inserts. At six o’clock is a one-minute flying tourbillon.

The case, in 18kt red gold case is 40mm (thickness of 12.1mm) with a water resistance of 120m. With an integrated 18kt red gold bracelet with folding clasp, the watch has a mix of brushed and polished finishing.

Through the open case back can be seen the automatic Calibre HMC 804, which beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of three days. It has an 18kt red gold rotor with engraved H. Moser logo. This is the same movement that was used in previous Vantablack® tourbillon models.

Maybe it’s just me, but the combination of red gold with the Streamliner design and black dial (the use of material and tourbillon aside), seems to have a retro 1960s – 1970s mood about it.

The new Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack® will become part of the permanent collection, and has an RRP of CHF 109 000.
