NEW: Glashütte Original PanoMaticCalendar

Glashütte Original has introduced its first annual calendar with two launch models.

These inaugural PanoMaticCalendars come in either 18K red gold case with a galvanised silver opaline dial, or in a platinum case with a black open-worked dial. Both are 42mm with a thickness of 12.40mm and a water resistance of 50m.

Along with the hours and minutes, they have a small seconds, date, retrograde annual calendar with a month display, and a moon phase.

The hours and minutes are an off-centred dial and the with an overlapping small seconds. The date is in the form of the familiar over-sized ‘Panorama’ two digit window at the four o’clock, and the month indication is courtesy of a retrograde window running from three o’clock to six o’clock. Both indications are adjusted using the crown. At 2 o’clock is the moon phase.

The red gold model has applied indices, printed scales, the date and month have ivory-coloured backgrounds, and the moon phase display is blue and gold.

It is powered by the new in-house automatic Calibre 92-09, which beats at 28,800VPH and has a power reserve of 100 hours. The movement features a Glashütte three-quarter plate with striped finish, a hand-engraved balance bridge, skeletonised rotor and 21 carat gold oscillating weight, and blued screws.

The limited edition platinum model has a partially skeletonised galvanised black dial. The indices are also applied. The Panorama date is on a grey background and the month has an anthracite-coloured background. The moon phase is blue and silver.

Inside is the new automatic in-house Calibre 92-10, which also beats at 28,800VPH and has a power reserve of 100 hours. It also features a Glashütte three-quarter plate with striped finish, hand-engraved balance bridge, off-centred skeletonised rotor, 21 carat gold oscillating weight, and blued screws.

The Glashütte Original PanoMaticCalendar in 5N red gold will form part of the permanent collection. Coming on a brown alligator strap with either a pin buckle or a folding clasp, it is priced at EUR 27,600. The PanoMaticCalendar in platinum is a limited edition of 150 pieces, comes on a black alligator strap, and is EUR 40,400.
