Green is not over.
Meet the new Fortis Marinemaster M-40 in “Woodpecker Green”. It is one of four new Marinemaster F-40 models, the others being Rockstone Gray, Serenity Blue, and Snow White. The colours are self explanatory.
Fortis’ new Marinemasters actually consist of two models – the M-40 and the M-44 (only in Amber Orange).
Both use recycled steel for their cases, which are 40mm or 44mm as per their model names. The water resistance for the M-40 is 300m, so it does fall neatly into a ‘dive’ tool watch category. The crown is screw-down and has a triple gasket system.
The new M-49’s dial has a Fortis “O” pattern, applied indices, and features Super-LumiNova X1 on the hands and indices. The bezel is uni-directional (the dot is also lumed) and uses the Fortis Lock System.
Behind an engraved solid case back is the automatic UW-30 (Sellita SW200-1 base) which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
All models are also available with either a stainless-steel “Block bracelet” (which has a fine adjustment clasp slide system) or the Fortis Horizon rubber strap in a dial-matched colour. The RRP is AUD 3,200/ EUR 2,950 on the bracelet and AUD 2,850/ EUR 3,300 on the rubber strap.
