The green-hued watches of various types that we’ve covered over the last twelve months have generally tended towards being at higher price points part of the spectrum, so today is about a new model from a brand which is accessibly priced.
Meet the new dark green dial version of the Longines Spirit Date.
This new model comes in either 40mm or 42mm sized stainless steel cases with a water resistance of 100m. Underneath the domed sapphire crystal is a green dial with a sand-blasted finish. There are applied Arabic numerals and silvered sand-blasted hands, and a pale beige colour has been chosen for the Super- LumiNova. Like their predecessors, this new variant has the automatic COSC-certified Calibre L888.4 which beats at 25,200 VPH and has a power reserve of 72 hours.
The watch is available with either a steel bracelet or a beige leather strap, with Longines’ interchangeable strap system.
The Longines Spirit green dial with a 42mm sized case is AUD 3,750 on a bracelet and AUD 3,350 on a strap. For the 40mm model, it is AUD 3,600 on a bracelet and AUD 3,200 with a strap.
