NEWS: The BLUE Auction – Bonhams

Some of you may already be aware that Bremont applied, a number of weeks ago, to help make ventilators for the National Health Service (NHS). They also launched a Food4Heroes bracelet, with the proceeds going to a charity founded by a friend of Giles English that provides 20,000 meals per week to NHS workers.

Now, they are part of a Bonhams online auction called ‘The BLUE Auction in aid of NHS Charities Covid-19 URGENT APPEAL’, contributing what may have been, until now, a ‘money can’t buy’ experience – a tour of Bremont HQ and a flight for four with Nick English. It is Lot 46, which is described as follows :

“Lot 46

British luxury watch company Bremont is offering a flight for four in its 1950s Broussard, known as the ‘Bremont Bus’ with brand Co-Founder Nick English. Based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, you and three guests will enjoy a private flight over the idyllic English countryside as well as a tour of Bremont’s new Headquarters the home of British watchmaking, set to open early 2021

Dates to be arranged by mutual agreement”

The other lots in this online auction range from art to entertainment, sports, business and more, with an emphasis on ‘experiences’ ranging from a tour of Grayson Perry’s studio to riding lessons, a guided tour and lunch with the Director of the British Museum, and even a walk-on part in a television series. The auction ends at 29 Apr 2020 at 12:00 BST on April 29, 2020. Go to this link for details and to place bids.
