The move by brands into developing closer direct relationships with their end clients/ owners continues, with Jaeger-LeCoultre announcing a new ‘Care Program’ aimed at developing personalised relationships through a digital platform.
Later this month the brand’s customers (whether through brand boutiques, authorised retailers or e-commerce partners) will be able to register their clocks and watches online, opening access to advice as well as an up to eight year international limited warranty on timepieces. The perks of registration will be as follows :
In-store: added-value services regarding maintenance or enhancement of their timepieces e.g. functional checks or engraving.
Online: information and advice provided by the relevant expert at Jaeger-LeCoultre on their specific timepiece(s) in and pre-configured digital tools for personalisation and care.
The platform will be available in twelve languages – English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Russian, simplified and traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Wechat will also be integrated into the platform.
Timepieces currently under the original International limited warranty will be eligible for the warranty extension upon online registration to this program here.
