Known for his classic approach to watchmaking and focus on micro-engineering, Vallée de Joux based independent watchmaker Romain Gauthier is celebrating his tenth anniversary with the HMS Ten in three new limited editions of the ‘Prestige HMS’ introduced in 2012.
The new HMS Ten shares the same case as their predecessors i.e. 41.00mm with a thickness of 12.10mm. It features a sectored dial that is partially open with the interesting retrograde seconds subdial showing part of the hand-finished in-house movement and the distinctive large flat caseback crown which gives the case its clean design as well as the additional bonus of being easy to wind. All components of the HMS Ten movement are designed, developed and manufactured in-house except for the mainspring, balance spring and jewels.

Available in red gold, white gold, or platinum, this timepiece was previously released in a titanium version. The anniversary versions are available in ten pieces of each of three metals : platinum case with a blue dial, white gold case with a champagne dial, and a red gold case with an anthracite dial. The platinum model comes on a blue alligator match and the other two, black alligator.
