A fire broke out at 8:45am on Sunday 29th December 2013 at the ETA (Swatch Group) building in Grenchen, destroying the galvanic workshop, where metal is electroplated and rust-proofed, as well as causing smoke damage to other areas.
There was no-one present in the workshop at the time, and the fire was fortunately under control by 9:30am before it could spread to other workshops in the building. How this will affect production schedules at ETA is yet to be ascertained.

Crap. I’m still waiting for my Master Collection Retrograde Moon Phases. Hopefully this won’t slow down delivery.
