NEWS : Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Jerome Lambert to become Montblanc CEO

The Richemont Group has announced that Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Mr Jérôme Lambert will succeed Mr Lutz Bethge as CEO of Montblanc as of 1 July 2013. Mr Lambert will remain a member of the Richemont Group Management Committee.

Mr Bethge will become non-executive Chairman and Head of the Supervisory Board of Montblanc but will step down from the Richemont Group Management Committee.

As non-executive Chairman and Head of Supervisory Board Mr Bethge will represent Montblanc externally and also be an advisor on strategic matters. He will step down from both operational business and the Group Management Committee on 30 June 2013.

Mr Daniel Riedo, Industrial Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre, will become CEO upon Mr Lambert’s departure. An engineer, Mr Riedo was at Rolex between April 1999 – December 2002 after which he was CEO of Montres Tudor SA from December 2003 – March 2010 before joining Jaeger-LeCoultre.
