ALERT : GBP200,000 of Seiko watches stolen after Salon QP

WatchPro have reported the theft of almost £200,000 worth of Grand Seikos and Seiko Astrons (including the LE model) after Salon QP last week. The watches were stolen after the Seiko team had put the watches in their car boot, with the car being systematically vandalised and tires slashed.

Seiko is asking watch retailers, collectors and pawnbrokers to look out for the watches (some of which were non-working samples) and to contact police if they are offered any Grand Seiko or Seiko Astron watches by an unauthorised source.

Contact person is Grant McPherson of Notting Hill Police Station on +44 0208 246 0131 and for further details, see the WatchPro link above.
