NEW: De Bethune DB25 Monopusher Chronograph

De Bethune’s new DB25 Monopusher Chronograph is the brand’s fourth monopusher, with its looks resembling that of the (also monopusher) DB EIGHT (2023).

At 40.6mm (thickness of 9.15mm), the new DB25 is smaller than the DB EIGHT (42.4mm), but it is also in a polished grade 5 titanium case. Another marked difference is that it has integrated open-worked lugs (versus cone-shaped). The monopusher is integrated into the crown at 3 o’clock.

The DB25 Monopusher Chronograph has a simple dial. Alongside the time is a 60-minute counter sub dial at 6 o’clock which is silvered barleycorn guilloché. The rest of the silver dial includes a central section with radiating guilloché.

De Bethune’s distinctive deep blue is used for the Arabic numerals, minute track, indicators, and the blued polished titanium central chronograph hand, seconds, and minute hands.

Through the open case back can be seen the in-house manually-wound Calibre DB3000, which is the same movement in the DB EIGHT (in which it made its debut). Featuring a column-wheel chronograph, it beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 60 hours. It has a titanium and white gold balance wheel, a flat terminal curved hairspring, and a silicon escape wheel. In terms of finishing, there are mirror-polished steel bridges, flat-polished chromium-plated bridges, hand-snailed barrels, and steel parts are hand-polished and chamfered steel parts

De Bethune’s DB25 Monopusher Chronograph comes on an alligator strap with a grade 5 titanium pin buckle and has an RRP of CHF 80,000.
