Following Laco’s 2023 launch editions of the Augsburg 42 & Aachen 42 POLAR Limited Editions, the brand has now released a smaller variant in the form of the Augsburg POLAR 39 & Aachen POLAR 39 Editions.

In 39mm (thickness of 11.55mm thick) satin-finished stainless steel cases with water resistance of 50m, the two bright white dials come with either a Type A dial (Augsburg POLAR 39) or a Type B dial (Aachen POLAR 39).

On both dials are metallic blue indices which have Super-LumiNova C3 Blue Line. The same lume colour is used on the thermally-blued hands.

Flipping over reveals an open case back, with a limitation engraving on the case. Through the sapphire crystal can be seen the automatic LACO Cal. 2S (Miyota 8250) which beats at 21,600 VPH and a power reserve of 42 hours.

For an extra EUR 55 you can upgrade the movement to the LACO Cal. 31 (Miyota 8315) which has a power reserve of 60 hours and unlike the default movement, features blued screws.

Coming on a brown leather strap with rivets, both new models are limited to 250 pieces with a price of EUR 440 directly from from Laco.
