More coloured ceramics are making an appearance, this time courtesy of IWC, which has added two new models in its “Colors of TOP GUN” collection in ceramic cases – the Pilot’s Watch Timezoner TOP GUN Woodland, and the Chronograph 41 Top GUN Mojave Desert.
First up – the Timezoner TOP GUN Woodland (Ref. IW395601) is the first Timezoner in a coloured ceramic case – dark green, with a Ceratanium case ring and crown. The case is 46mm with a thickness of 15.1mm and is water resistant to 100m.
On the green dial there are black hands and indices with Super-LumiNova, along with the 24-hour display and rotating bezel for the Worldtimer function which, as we’ve dealt with before, is activated by depressing and turning.

Through the open case back can be seen the automatic IWC Calibre 82760 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
The new Timezoner TOP GUN Woodland comes on a green rubber strap with textile inlay and has a Ceratanium pin buckle. Its Australian RRP is $26,500.
The second new piece in this mini ‘collection’ release is the Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Mojave Desert (Ref. IW389402), which has a beige sand-coloured ceramic case measuring 41.9mm with a thickness of 15.5mm and water resistance of 100m.

On its brown dial are the time, day, date, and the familiar layout for the chronograph sub dials. The hands are also brown and again, there is Super-LumiNova.

Behind the engraved titanium case back is the IWC Calibre 69380 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 46 hours.
It comes on a matching beige rubber strap with textile inlay on a titanium pin buckle and has an Australian RRP of $17,300.
