NEW: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon

When people look for a classic round dress watch from a major luxury brand more often than not, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be mentioned. This has held true for many decades and there is no reason to think that it will not continue to be the case. Usually, it is just about a time-only piece, but it still holds true for those looking for a watch with a moonphase.

Now, the brand has introduced a new Master Ultra Thin Moon which combines a pink gold case with a dark blue dial. There is a Master Ultra Thin Moon in the current collection which has a blue dial, but it is in a lighter shade called ‘petroleum blue’ and in a stainless steel case.

For this new piece, which is also in a 39mm case (thickness of 9.3mm), the case is 18kt rose gold and water resistant to 50m.

The fumé dial with a sunray finish has classic Dauphine hands, tapered triangular indices and applied minute dots all in matching pink gold, with the moon phase at 6 o’clock that has a mirror-polished moon disc.

Visible through an open case back is the automatic in-house Calibre 925 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 70 hours. It features an 18kt pink gold rotor.

Coming on a matching dark blue alligator strap with an 18kt pink gold pin buckle, the new Master Ultra Thin Moon has an Australian RRP of $37,000.
