Green has has reached Jaeger-LeCoultre’s popular Rendez-Vous in the form of the Dazzling Night & Day.

Coming in a 36mm sized18 carat pink gold case set with 168 diamonds, the green sunray-brushed dial in this still-popular colour is matched to an alligator strap. As some other brands have chosen a shade of green based on their environs, so too Jaeger-LeCoultre, who say that theirs is a nod to the Vallée de Joux.

There are a total of 168 diamonds (approx. 3.43 carats) of which 108 are on the bezel. There is an inverted diamond is set into the winding crown and there are three diamonds on each of the four lugs.

On the dial there are 47 diamonds on the inner circle of the eponymous Night & Day indication. Its disc that rotates every 24 hours. The disc has a pink gold crescent moon with a backdrop of stars for night and a polished golden sun to mark day time.

As you would have no doubt expected, inside is the automatic Calibre 898 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 38 hours. It features an open-worked pink gold rotor, Côtes de Genève on the plates, circular graining on the wheels, and blued screws.
