Earlier this year Roger Dubuis debuted the Excalibur Double Tourbillon Black Ceramic, one of two watches in this colour/ material combination that were a first for the brand.
The limited edition Double Tourbillon Black Ceramic was a new variant on 2021’s update of the Excalibur Double Tourbillon, which featured a number of changes that we mentioned earlier, including the star-shaped bridge being placed freely above the barrel and the weight of the two one-minute flying tourbillons being reduced via their lower cage being made of titanium and upper, in mirror-polished cobalt chrome.

Now, the black ceramic version has been joined by a new limited edition in white ceramic, with the use of their proprietary EON GOLD™ in this new skeletonised piece. As with its predecessor, the case is 45mm in size, with a water resistance of 100m.

The movement is, of course, also the manually-wound Calibre RD108SQ, which beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 72 hours.

Limited to eight pieces, it comes on a calf strap and the price is POA from their boutiques.
