The Primatic is a new model from MeisterSinger featuring, for the first time, both a power reserve indicator and date alongside their classic single hand, on the dial.

In a 41.5mm stainless steel case, it is available in four dial colours – ivory, black, sunburst petrol green, and sunburst blue.

The versions with ivory or black feature what they are calling ‘cognac-colored’ accents on the dial, a colour scheme which is carried through to the stitching of the ‘vegan leather’ black straps. The straps on the other two colour variants are vegan leather.

As is the case whenever this is done, there is the visual design question of whether the date window alongside the numeral at 3 o’clock should be solely a date window in that position – I am in the affirmative camp on this, as for me, it makes for a cleaner dial.

The RRP for the new Primatic is EUR 2,190.
