HANDS-ON: Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa (PAM01391)

As a part of their ongoing relationship with the Luna Rossa Team, for whom they are official sponsor for the America’s Cup, meet Panerai’s limited edition new Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa PAM01391.

For those who missed the name change, which we mentioned earlier this year, ‘QuarantaQuattro’ is the brand’s new way of referring to the 44mm case size, so the case is a known quantity. In this case, in brushed steel, with water resistance of 300m.

With the Luna Rossa colour theme of blue, red and white, and the team branding just above 6 o’clock, the sun-brushed blue dial has a date window at 3 o’clock and a sub seconds at 9 o’clock.

Behind the case back is the famliar and reliable automatic Calibre P.900, which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of three days.

Coming on a blue fabric strap but with an additional recycled rubber strap (and strap changing tool), the new PAM01391 is in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces with an RRP of AUD14,200 (including taxes).
