For those who are familiar with H.Moser & Cie’s Heritage collection, and in particular the Tourbillon, Dual Time and Centre Seconds, the design of this latest addition to that line will be familiar. Indeed the ‘look’ is such a classic one that there will be broader recognition of its inspiration and roots.
This new iteration brings a 42mm sized bronze case into the picture, but also adds an unexpected touch to the black fumé sunburst-patterned dial – the brand’s logo in Cyrillic logo. This is not some region-specific nod but a font and style that was used by Heinrich Moser.
The dial has a railway minute track in white. The sword-shaped hands have Super-LumiNova and the appliqué numerals are Globolight®, a ceramic-based material. They are also filled with Super-LumiNova.
Visible behind the sapphire and steel case back is the automatic Calibre HMC 200. With an engraved oscillating weight and decorated with the Moser double stripes, it beats at 21,600VPH and has a power reserve of three days.
The Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” edition comes with a black textile strap and grey kudu leather strap and is limited to fifty pieces. With a price of CHF 17,900, it is available directly from Moser on their website. Hit this link for reservations.
