If you are in Switzerland or if are able to make your way there, Jaeger-LeCoultre have launched a new Reverso-themed ‘Discovery Workshop’, commencing in November 2021, to mark their year of celebration for their most well-known model.
It joins the other themed workshops and Manufacture tours which are available, at a cost, to the public. A different era to the (only recent) days when the only way to see inside was via invitation.
Jaeger-LeCoultre have this all under the umbrella of what they call the ‘Atelier d’Antoine’ in the Vallée de Joux, and it is named after their founder.
As is the case with the other Discovery Workshops, the Reverso Workshop will be a combination of lectures and a hands-on component, covering both design and technical/ horological history and developments. A high point will clearly be when participants learn how to assemble a Reverso case.
Naturally, the Discovery Workshops are limited not just in number but also size – a maximum of eight participants.
