Sinn’s 104 St Sa pilot watch, with its clear dial and simple time, date, and day of the week functionality, has been given the ‘green treatment’, bringing the brand’s popular tool watch into this colour trend with a metallic dial.
There is nothing technically different about this new model, a mainstay of Sinn’s collections. It comes in a 41mm-sized polished stainless steel case with a water resistance of 200m. Visible through the screw-down open case back is the automatic SW 220-1, which beats at 28,800VPH and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
Interestingly for a tool watch, the green dial has been given a shimmering metallic effect, making it more dressy than its collection siblings. The hour, minute and seconds hand are all lumed, as are the indices. The pilot’s bezel with minute-ratcheting is bi-directional and has a luminous triangle as its marker.
You can choose from a wide selection of straps, of which some you can see here (and also including a Bund-style one). The final cost will depend on your choice, but the starting Australian RRP of the new 104 St Sa I MG is AUD2,200 (excluding GST). You can have a play with the strap selection at Sinn’s site to see how each option will look.
