Jupp Philipp

In an update to the recent difficulties facing Fortis, which we most recently covered in this post, they have announced the company’s continued operation under a new owner, Mr Jupp Philipp as of September 1, 2018. The company has also changed its name to Fortis Watches AG.

Lorenz Aebischer

Alongside Mr Philipp will be new CEO Mr Lorenz Aebischer, who has worked at Auguste Reymond, Mido, and Tissot.

Their initial plan is to go through all aspects of the company’s operations, strategy development, and to communicate with their retailer network about the brand’s future direction.
