NEW: Yema Flygraf Flieger for the French Air Force

A couple of years ago we mentioned that YEMA, official partner of the French Air Force since the 1970s, had also become an official partner of the French Navy (Marine nationale).

We’re back to a new air force collaboration release today, with the Flygraf Flieger French Air Force, which is by the Flieger Type A design but with changes such as a date window and a grade 2 titanium case.

The case is 40mm (thickness of 9.4mm) and water resistant to 100m. To note the collaborative relationship, the case back features an embossed French Air Force logo.

The dial has white Arabic numerals printed in slight relief with a steel finish, and the classic flieger triangular marker at 12 o’clock. It is not printed but in “sandwich” form, and cream-coloured to match the hands. The hands and triangle have Super-LumiNova.

This new Flygraf Flieger comes in three dial colours – black, blue, or green. The date wheel is colour-matched to the dial colour.

Powering it is the automatic YEMA2000 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 42 hours.

It comes on a French canvas strap with a leather under layer which features the French Air Force logo, and has a brushed titanium pin buckle.

Available from May 2024, the RRP is USD 990.
