NEW: Hautlence Linear Series 3

Hautlence’s new Linear Series 3 ‘Red Passion’ joins the blue and black Series 1 and 2 with a limited edition red model.

The stainless case, which measures 43mm x 50.8mm (12.2mm thick), is a mix of satin and polished finishing has a water resistance of 100m and features a notched crown with a red rubber band and engraved Hautlence logo.

If you’re unfamiliar with the brand’s linear retrograde jumping hour, on the left of the dial is a vertical; scale indicating the hours – a small pointer indicates the current hour. Once a twelve-hour cycle has been completed, a snail disengages to release the accumulated energy and it jumps back to 1 and starts a new cycle. The minutes are indicated on the main part of the dial. Because of the partially open nature of the dial side, you can see the minute cam – it lifts the minute sector as the sixty minute cycle progresses and once completed, it falls back, driving the hour. There is also a 60-second flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock with a black skeletonised bridge.

The Linear Series 3’s dial has three levels – a skeletonised rhodium-plated brass base dial with vertical satin finishing and red Zapon lacquer, a middle tinted sapphire dial with a printed minute track and luminous Globolight® numbers, and an upper dial which has matte red lacquer and black oxidation, plus Super-LumiNova hour numbers.

Powering it is the automatic Hautlence Calibre D50 which has an Agenhor module. It beats at 21.600 VPH and has a power reserve of 72 hours.

In a limited edition of twenty-eight pieces, the Hautlence Linear Series 3 comes on a red rubber strap with a steel pin buckle and has an RRP of CHF 63,000.
