NEW: Omega Planet Ocean 600M Worldtimer

In the Aqua Terra 150M range since 2017, Omega have now added their Worldtimer to the Seamaster Planet Ocean family courtesy of the new Planet Ocean 600M Worldtimer.

This Worldtimer comes in a 45.5mm (17.4mm thick) brushed black ceramic case with water resistance of 600m.

With black dials and a laser-ablated diving scale in positive relief, the model comes in two variants – one with turquoise dial accents and one with grey. The hands are grey PVD with white Super-LumiNova. Alongside the hours, minutes and central seconds are a date window at 6 o’clock, GMT, and the eponymous world time function. The diamond-brushed indicies have white Super-Lumi-Nova.

At the centre of the dial is a topographic depiction of Earth as soon from above the North Pole, on a grade 5 titanium surface. This map is created using laser-ablation and grey or turquoise varnish. It is circled by a 24-hour indicator, divided into night and day sections on transparent Hesalite.

The outer section of the dial is black DLC with a laser-ablated and polished honeycomb pattern Surrounding this is an outer ring in grey or turquoise varnish. The worldtimer destinations include Omega’s home of Bienne.

Through the open case back you can see the in-house Master Chronometer certified automatic Co-Axial Cal. 8938 which beats at 25,200 VPH and has a power reserve of 60 hours. It has a rhodium-plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.

Coming on a black rubber strap with black-grey or turquoise stitching and a clasp in ceramic-treated titanium, the Omega Planet Ocean 600M Worldtimer has an Australian RRP of $24,600.
