NEW: Louis Erard Le Régulateur Gravé Noir

Louis Erard’s new Le Régulateur Gravé Noir is a vintage-inspired variation of the brand’s regulator/ Régulateur model, which has previously extended to some of its collaborative pieces. The Le Régulateur is proving to be a versatile base on which the brand has been able to create quite different and in-demand pieces at an attractive price point. There is no reason that this latest variant, which joins the brand’s Noirmont Métiers d’Art collection, will not also do well. It’s a little bit of old in a new form, done well, and that sort of combination is often a drawcard.

The new Gravé Noir comes in a polished stainless steel 39mm-sized case with water resistance of 50m and features an anthracite dial with fine-grained finishing and gold-plated engraved markings that have a galvanic finish. This latest regulator interpretation has a old-school sector dial influence, along with a railway track. The markers are polished 5N rose gold, as are the Erard fir tree hands.

Through the open case back can be seen the automatic Sellita SW266-1A which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 38 hours. The Louis Erard logo is in black lacquer on the rotor.

Coming on a beige grained calf leather strap with black grained calf leather lining and priced at CHF 2,900 (excluding taxes), you can get the Le Régulateur Gravé Noir directly from Louis Erard at this link.
