NEW: Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

Vacheron Constantin is marking two decades of the Patrimony collection with a new automatic limited edition designed in collaboration with Ora ïto, a French designer, member of the brand’s international “One of Not Many” marketing partnerships and in particular, this collection family.

As the collection family’s name indicates, the line is about a nod to the classicism of time past – in the Patrimony’s case, a 1957 model and trying to retain a consistent design aesthetic that is in line with the dress watches of the period, but with modern updates. Patrimonys are characterised by a round case with a slim bezel, domed dial, slim curved hour markers, curved baton hands, and small minute dots.

Limited to 100 pieces, the new Patrimony 20th Anniversary Limited Edition comes in a 40mm yellow gold case (thickness of 8.55m) with a gold-coloured dial covered with concentric circles. The applied hour-markers, the ‘pearl’ minutes track and the slender, slightly curved hands following the shape of the dial are also 18k 3N yellow gold. The date display at 6 o’clock has a gold-toned background, this dial colour-matched date window a feature of the other variants of this Patrimony model.

Powering it is the in-house Calibre 2450 Q6, a mainstay of the Patrimony collection and used in the other models bearing the same time and date combination. Beating at 28,800 VPH with a power reserve of 43 hours, it features circular graining on the mainplate, Côte de Genève on the bridges, and an open-worked gold oscillating weight revealing a Maltese cross.

Vacheron Constantin’s new Patrimony 20th Anniversary Limited Edition comes on a burgundy calf strap with a yellow gold pin buckle and has an Australian RRP of $59,000 including taxes.
