NEW: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune and Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback Red Gold

Blancpain has introduced two additions to its Fifty Fathoms range in the form of the Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune and the Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback Red Gold, which come not just with red gold cases, but also bracelets.

The current Bathyscape model is now eleven years old, having been launched in 2013 as a 43mm sized watch notably larger than its historical origins. These two new models have satin-brushed cases and matching 18k bracelets with satin-brushed links.

Let’s first take a look at the new Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune. As you can guess just from the name, it features the (pointer) day, date, month and moon phase.

The 43mm case is 13.40mm thick with water resistance of 300m. Through the open case back can be seen the automatic Calibre 6654.P.4 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 72 hours.

Next up is the new Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback, which has a small seconds, date, and flyback chronograph. Its 43mm case is thicker (14.90mm), but water resistance is the same 300m. Through the open case back is the automatic Calibre F385 which beats at 36,000 VPH and has a power reserve of 50 hours. It is a column-wheel chronograph movement.

Both the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune and Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback Red Gold have Australian RRPs of $88,200.
