Oris’ Great Barrier Reef editions supporting the Reef Restoration Foundation continue, with the new limited edition Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition IV. Oris has been a partner of the Foundation since 2018, but it was set up in 2016 to help conserve the Great Barrier Reef and address widespread effects of coral bleaching.
Oris partnered with the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) for the 2010 and 2016 editions and with Reef Restoration Foundation for the Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition III in 2019.
In a 43.50mm stainless steel case with a screw-in crown, crown protection, uni-directional rotating bezel with a grey tungsten insert, and three-link bracelet with a quick adjustment and strap change system. Water resistance is 300m.

The gradient blue dial represents the turquoise and blue waters of the Great Barrier Reef and the refraction of the sun’s rays through water. Unlike what is usually the case for watch dials, the dial gradient is not going outwards from the centre, but vertically downwards from 12 o’clock. The markers, hands and seconds hand all have Super-LumiNova.

The Great Barrier Reef IV based on the latest generation automatic Aquis Date Calibre 400 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a five day power reserve.
The new Oris Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition IV case back features commemorative engravings and the limitation number out of 2,000 and has an RRP of AUD 6,700/ CHF 3,900.
