In 2022 Girard-Perregaux revived their famed Casquette, with necessary movement updates, a black ceramic and grade 5 titanium case, and a new name, the Casquette 2.0. The original 1970s model only numbered 8,200 in total watches produced, and the Casquette 2.0 was limited to 820 pieces.
This was followed last year with the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 1.0 in black ceramic. Now, in 2024, we have the new Casquette 2.0 Laurent 2.0 in grade 5 titanium a limitation of 100 pieces.
The Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02’s case measures 42.40mm x 33.60mm with a thickness of 14.64mm and features a mix of satin, polished, and sand-blasted finishing. The screw-down case back is titanium and has a water resistance of 50m.

The Casquette 2.0 featured a new movement, the quartz Calibre GP03980-1474, which was also used for the Only Watch Casquette, and this is the same movement that has been used for the two subsequent variants.

As is the case with the two earlier models, the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02’s functions are hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, and year, chronograph, a second time zone, and a ‘secret date’ of your choosing.
Coming on a grade 5 titanium bracelet with a rubber lining, it comes in a numbered limited edition of 200 pieces and has an RRP of CHF 5,620 / EUR 5,500.
