NEW: Junghans Telemeter Edition JF

Junghans first presented a chronograph combining a telemeter and tachymeter display in 1951. Telemeter Edition JF, a new interpretation of an iconic timepiece of the 1950s.

In 1951 Junghans released a chronograph that had both telemeter and tachymeter displays. Today’s new Telemeter Edition JF is based on an early gold models, with a new limited edition watch that combines a gilt-coloured model with a black dial (as per the original) with circular brushed finishing.

It comes in 40.8mm stainless steel case with yellow gold coloured PVD coating, and a water resistance of 50m. The tachymeter is in silver, and the telemetre scale is red on a grey background. There is a red seconds counterweight and the hour and minute hands and numerals, are lumed. The chronograph functions on the dial are bicompax, with a small seconds and 30-minute counter.

Visible through the open case back is the automatic Calibre J880.3 (ETA base) which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 42 hours. Finishing-wise, it has rhodium plating, striping on the rotor, which also has an engraved logo, and blued screws.

Limited to 150 pieces, the new Junmghans Telemeter Edition JF comes on a black leather strap with grey saddle stitch seam and a steel yellow gold PVD-coated buckle and has an RRP of EUR 2,490.
