Maurice Lacroix has just announced two sleek new PVD-treated additions to its popular AIKON, both limited to 888 pieces each. Coming in either midnight blue or gunmetal grey stainless steel cases, they have colou-matched fumé dials with a Clous de Paris decoration and ‘M’ logo.

The midnight blue model has rhodium-plated hands and markers, with white Super-LumiNova. The gunmetal model has matte black hands and markers, and white Super-LumiNova.

There is one big difference between the two (apart from the obvious colour) – the size. The AIKON Gunmetal PVD Automatic comes in a 42mm case (11mm thick) with water resistance of 200m. The AIKON Blue PVD Automatic is 39mm, with the same thickness and water resistance.

Through the open case back of both new model variants is the same movement – the automatic ML 115 (Sellita SW200-1 base). Featuring a rotor with the brand’s ‘M’ logo, it beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 38 hours. Finishing is a combination of perlage and colimaçon. The case back also features an engraving noting the edition status – “LIMITED EDITION OF 888”.

Both the new AIKON PVD Automatics come on colour-matched integrated rubber straps with a PVD-coated pin buckle with a rhodium ‘M’ logo and Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Change strap system. They both have the same RRP for both of them is CHF 2.300 (including taxes).
