It’s officially summer holiday season here in Australia, and the perfect time for a bright, light, watch. For being on the beach but not in the water, though. With the new TYPE 1° M, Ressence goes ‘off brand’, as it were, with a multicoloured addition to the TYPE 1 Round collection.

It’s all about bold colours for new Type 1 Round. The German silver dial features red, blue, yellow, and green for the function discs, on a light grey dial. The hands are a darker grey compared to the dial, with tips in the same four colours but contrasted to the function colour, and Super-LumiNova®. Numbers and indices are painted white and the engraved indications also have Super-LumiNova®.

With the usual hour, minute, seconds and day of the week functions, the TYPE 1° M is powered by the ROCS 1.3 module on the customised base 2892 movement that beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of 36 hours. Winding and the day/ time setting is done via the lever on the case back.

The Grade 5 titanium case is 42.7mm (thickness of 11mm), weighing 64g, and comes on a light grey rubber strap with an ardillon buckle. The new Ressence TYPE 1° M is now available, with an RRP of CHF 16,800 (excluding taxes).
