You may recall that two years ago, Frederique Constant launched a limited edition Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar with a partially open dial as a part of their Highlife collection in two variants – an 18k rose gold model, and a stainless steel version.
To mark thirty-five years of the brand, and fifteen years of its Manufacture tourbillon, they have just announced another new limited edition Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar in an 18kt rose gold case with a solid matte blue dial with an embossed stylised globe pattern.
The case is 41mm (thickness of 12.6mm) with water resistance of 30m and has a mix of brushed and polished finishing.

The blue dial features rose gold-plated hour and minute hands and applied indices, all of which also have Super-LumiNova. Alongside the 60-second tourbillon at 6 o’clock which has a rose-gold plate seconds hand, the day, date and month indications are at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. There is leap year counter (marked ‘L’) at the month indication at 12 o’clock. The tourbillon has blued screws and a gold bae plate that has the watch’s serial number.

Powering it is the same Calibre FC-975 which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of thirty-eight hours. It has a mix of perlage and circular Côtes de Genève finishing.
The new Highlife Perpetual Tourbillon is limited to thirty-five pieces and comes with two interchangeable straps – one a navy blue alligator strap with nubuck finishing, and the second, a navy blue rubber strap. Both have an 18kt rose gold pin buckle. The RRP is EUR 44,995.
