NOMOS Glashütte has launched three new stainless steel versions of the Metro 33, a variant of which was seen in a rose gold case with a slightly different dial design.
As the name indicates the case is 33mm, with a thickness of 7.5mm and water resistance of 50m. The new Metro 33 has a double curved sapphire crystal, a ‘Metro crown’ with diamond knurling, and wire lugs.

Powering it is the manually-wound in-house Alpha calibre which beats at 21,600 VPH and a power reserve of 43 hours. It features rhodium plating and hand decoration with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage, as well as blued screws.
It’s all about colour, with the new models coming in dials called ‘all silver’ ‘muted red’ and ‘sage’, with a milled seconds sub dial and dot minute markers either pink or yellow. The hour and minute hands are stainless steel and have a stepped design.
Firstly, we have the Metro 33 all silver (Ref. 1122). It has a galvanised silver-plated dial with a sunburst finish, light grey hour markers at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, and grey minute markers. The hands are rhodium-plated.

The second new model is the Metro 33 muted red (Ref. 1123). Alongside the same light grey hour markers at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock are pink minute dots. This colour is carried through to the seconds hand. The hands are also rhodium-plated.

Finally, the Metro 33 sage (Ref. 1123) has a galvanised sage green dial with mint green hour markers at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, with yellow minute dots. The seconds hand is also yellow and the hour and minute hands identical to those of the other two variants.
All three models come on a grey velour remborde strap with a stainless steel pin buckle and quick change spring bars and have an Australian RRP of $2,950.
