Rado has expanded its True Square collection with some new skeleton models. Following on from the True Square and True Square Open Heart models, in polished square black, plasma and white monobloc ceramic cases.

The case is 38mm x 44.2mm x 9.7mm with a water resistance of 50m. The case backs are sand-blasted titanium for two of the models and black PVD sand-blasted titanium for the black model variant.

The new model has a split-level dihttps://i.postimg.cc/jj0Bc1mX/2023-Rado-True-Sq-Skeleton7.webpal with a skeletonised top plate. In keeping with the square shape of the case, there is the use of parallel horizontal lines to divide the dial into three sections. The upper section of the skeletonised watch has the balance, the middle section highlights the hands, minute wheel bridge and movement jewels, and the bottom is where you’ll find the barrel.

On the black and plasma variants there is anthracite coating on the minute wheel bridge and a nickel-coloured bottom dial plate with Côtes de Genève. The white model has a gold-coloured wheel bridge and nickel-coloured Côtes de Genève on the dial side (and nickel-coloured back side).

The hands and indices are rose-gold colour coated on the black model, silver on the plasma, and yellow gold colour plated with white veneer on the white model, with white Super-LumiNova. The seconds hands are yellow gold, silver or rose gold coloured.
Similarly, the indices, which are coated with white Super-LumiNova, are yellow-gold, silver or rose-gold coloured. The printed minute tracks are dark grey or white.

A new skeletonised model also means a new movement, with Rado’s new automatic Calibre R808 which has a Nivachron hairspring and an 80 hour power reserve.
Coming on same-coloured ceramic bracelets with a titanium three-fold clasp, the new Rado True Square Skeleton has an Australian RRP of $4,300.
