NOMOS Glashütte has launched three new limited edition Orion neomatik watches to celebrate 175 years of Glashütte Watchmaking – the Orion neomatik, Orion neomatik 39 and Orion neomatik 41 date. Each is limited to 175 pieces.

All three models have a tripartite stainless steel case with a crown is engraved with the NOMOS logo. Their galvanised white silver-plated, polished domed dial feature stamped indices, golden indices and tempered blue hands. For the first time the small seconds dial is not recessed.

With a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock, the Orion neomatik and Orion neomatik 39 models use the in-house automatic Calibre DUW 3001 which has a power reserve of 43 hours. It features a stop seconds, and Glashütte three-quarter plate. There are tempered blue screws and rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage.

The ‘base’ neomatik Ref.395.S1 has a 36.4mm case with a thickness of 8.5mm and water resistance of 30m. On the case back is a limited edition engraving of ‘Limited Edition Orion – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte X/175’.

The mid-sized model is the Orion neomatik Ref. 345.S1. It has a 38.5mm sized case with thickness of 8.7mm and water resistance of 30m.

The largest variant is the Orion neomatik 41 date Ref. 365.S1. The case is 40.5mm with a thickness of 9.5mm and water resistance of 30m. It uses the DUW 6101 in-house movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours. It features a quick correction date, stop seconds, bi-directional rotor with gold-plated embossing, Glashütte three-quarter plate, tempered blue screws, rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing, and NOMOS perlage.

As is the case for the two smaller models, on the back of the Orion neomatik 41 is an engraving of ‘Limited Edition Orion – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte X/175’.

All three Orion neomatiks come on black Horween Shell Cordovan straps with a stainless steel clasp. The RRPs are Ref. 395.S1 AUD 5,150, Ref. 365 AUD 5,420, and Ref. 365.S1 AUD 5,870.
