De Bethune has announced a majority investment in REUGE (1865), maker of musical automaton and mechanical music boxes, and most well known to watch lovers for having collaborated with MB&F on some thoroughly contemporary Music Machines.

Both De Bethune and REUGE are based in Sainte-Croix. The current CEO of REUGE, Amr Al Otaishan, will continue to play a significant part in the company as a member of the board and strategic advisor.

The prospect of some REUGE pieces with that distinctive De Bethune touch will undoubtedly be of great interest to many.
