The classically elegant Ludwig, with its slim Roman numerals and indices, is a favourite NOMOS collection family, and the 33mm-sized model has a new addition with a black dial, joining the existing variants with white and champagne.

The galvanised black dial has, perhaps a little unexpectedly, gold hands. The stainless steel case is slim – 6.6mm, with a water resistance of 30m, and is rounded.

Inside all the NOMOS Ludwig 33 models is the manually-wound in-house Alpha movement, which debuted in 2005. It beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 43 hours.

The new Ludwig 33 Noir comes on an anthracite-coloured velour strap and in the NOMOS watch box made from black poplar and has an RRP of AUD 2,610.
