Debuting in 2018, Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT was a reworked version of the previous model, with a flying tourbillon, in a gold and black colour scheme. In 2020, another version was launched, which was a combination of titanium and grey ceramic, with blue titanium bridges.
This year, we have the latest Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT, this time in a 44mm (16.1mm thick) sand-blasted titanium case with a satin-brushed green (yes green) ceramic bezel and is water resistant to 100m. There are also green ceramic pushers and crown, with the two pushers protected by sand-blasted titanium guards.

On the dial, the second second time-zone indicator is a sapphire plate at 3 o’clock, and the crown position/ function indicator is at 6 o’clock. The white hour markers on the black inner bezel are transfers. The hands are pink gold and lumed.

Said movement is the in-house Calibre 2954, which beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of ten days. The open-worked movement is black and features green CVD-coloured inserts, and it has asymmetrical blackened titanium bridges with rose-gold-toned accents, along with green CVD-colored inserts.

The new Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT Green comes on a green rubber strap with a sand-blasted titanium folding clasp, along with an additional black rubber strap. The RRP? CHF 198,900.
