NEW: Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic Perpetual Calendar

If you’re wondering what Baume & Mercier have been up to, well a new variant of the Baumatic Perpetual Calendar is one of your answers.

Launched in 2019, this new model is in a 42mm-sized 18kt rose gold case with a water resistance of 50m. The lacquered dial is a gradient grey, with gilt indices and gilt hands. The moon phase has a blue lacquered finish. It joins an earlier variation which has a gradient blue lacquered dial,

It is powered by the automatic Baumatic BM13-1975A C2 (aka BM 13) which beats at 28,800 VPH and has a power reserve of five days. The bridges feature circular graining, and the plate is snailed and sand-blasted. The open-worked rotor has Côtes de Genève and snailed finishing.

The new variant comes on a blue alligator strap and has a matching 18kt rose gold buckle.

The Australian RP for the new Clifton Baumatic Perpetual Calendar (Ref. 10656) is $40,900 including taxes.
