De Bethune has added a new model to its perpetual calendar offerings – meet the DB25sQP, in a new 40mm titanium case with a bi-coloured silver and blue dial.
Originally launched in 2011, the De Bethune DB25QP combines a perpetual calendar and a moon phase. The DB25QP had a 44mm case, which makes this considerably smaller, with a thickness of 11.3mm. This also means a smaller movement – the DB2324V2, a development on the DB2324.
The hand-guilloché dial features a pattern radiating across 12 sectors, with blue appliques, silver-toned raised transfers, and Roman numerals. At 12 o’clock there is a palladium and blued steel spherical moon phase set against a sky dotted with rose gold star studded sky in blued titanium, along with a gold leap year indicator. The perpetual calendar indicators are the month at 3 o’clock, the date at 6 o’clock, and the day of the week at 9 o’clock. The curved hour, date and moon phase rings have silver relief Roman numerals. The hands, in mirror-polished steel, as also curved.
Along with the crown, for setting the time and date, the moon phase, day of the week, and month, can be adjusted via correctors.

Visible through the sapphire case back is the automatic Calibre DB2324V2 which beats at Frequency: 28,800 VPH and has a five day power reserve. With a titanium and white gold oscillating weight, the balance is made of titanium and features small white gold weights placed around the rims, with the balance bridge and oscillating weight arms in blued titanium. Finishing on the movement includes a sandblasted and hand snailed platinum three-quarter plate.

The Perpetual Calendar Reference DB25sQP is fitted with an alligator strap with a polished titanium and comes with a second grey fabric strap.
The RRP is CHF 125,000 and it joins the permanent collection, but production will be limited to fifteen units per annum.
