NEW: Piaget Polo Date Green and Polo Skeleton Green

Yes it is time for more green. This time from Piaget, with two Polos – a Date and a Skeleton. Both are colour extensions to existing models.

The new green Polo Date comes in a 42mm sized 18k rose gold case with a thickness of 9.4mm with a water resistance of 100m. The green horizontal guilloché dial dial has a date window at 6 o’clock and lumed hour markers.

Through the open case back can be seen the automatic Calibre 1110P which beats at 28,000 VPH and has a power reserve of 50 hours. It has a slate grey oscillating weight decorated with circular Côtes de Genève and featuring the Piaget coat of arms. Other finishing featured on the movement are circular-graining on the mainplate and bevelled bridges.

Coming on a green alligator strap, the new Polo Date Green joins the permanent collection and has an RRP of AUD 44,900.

The second new green Polo, the Skeleton, is in a 42mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 6.5mm and water resistance of 30m. It joins the other skeletonised Polos in blue and slate grey.

The skeletonised movement visible from both sides is the ultra-thin (2.4mm) automatic Calibre 1200S1, in green. It beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 44 hours. It features circular and sunburst satin-brushed wheels, sunburst satin-brushed plate and bridges, and grey screws on the plate and bridges.

This boutique-only model comes on a steel bracelet, but you also get a second green alligator strap. The RRP is $46,400.

If something seems vaguely familiar to you, you’re right.
